Escaleira de apropiación
Durante o mes pasado estiven espiando á porteira, unha vella fisgona. O que aquí presento son imaxes que non me pertecen e a ela tampouco. Os inquilinos poderían reclamar o seu dereito de intimidade pero non se saben espiados.

É unha vella egoísta. Sempre estivo viúva.
Compartir vidas alleas pero en silencio esmiuzadas coidadosamente e coidadosamente apiladas como vivencias propias-reside no baixo e (por suposto) vive en todos os cantos do edificio. Leva inscrita na fronte a súa divina misión: veladora de inquilinos. Non os coida: celosamente aloumiña as súas vidas en secreto. Espreita os seus espacios e coñece todos os medios para ler cartas a contraluz.
-Cartas á fisgona-
Todo o correo é espiado. Ela le no interior dos sobres cerrados que non lle pertencen. Como boa conselleira completa as cartas co seu puño e letra pero en sobres á parte que se envía a si mesma- autocartas da porteira – Cando as recibe leas ao trasluz e destrúeas.
Como inquilino eu tamén recibo cartas xa espiadas. Como segunda fisgona eu tamén mas escribo. Dedícollas a ela e envíomas – autocartas á porteira : “Querida porteira…”
Tamén coido de que estas cartas permanezan en secreto: a letra é ilexíbel. Pode lelas ao trasluz pero non pode descifrar o texto. Ela tamén é secretamente traizoada. Espacios espiados/visitas a espacios momentaneamente abandonados – Asumo as súas obsesións. Persígoa e repito os seus movementos. Piso onde ela xa pisou. Ela dicta o percorrido.

LETTERS TO THE BUSYBODY
Appropriation stairs
Last month I was spying on the caretaker,an old busybody. What I show here are images
which do not belong either to me or her. The tenants might claim their right to privacy but they do not know they are being spied on-
-forbidden author-

She is an old selfish woman. She has always been a widow.
To share other people’s lives but in silence carefully shattered and carefully piled up as one’s experiences- she lives on the ground floor and (of course) she lives in every corner of the building.
On her forehead her divine mission is engraved: she is the watchwoman of the tenants. She does not look after them: she carefully and secretly caresses their lives. She peeps at their spaces and knows every means to read letters against the light.
-Letters to the busybody-
All the post is spied. She reads inside sealed envelopes that do not belong to her. Like a good adviser she completes the letters in her own writing but in different envelopes and she sends them to herself- selfletters from the caretaker- When she receives them, she reads them against the light and destroys them.
As a tenant I also get letters already spied.
As a second busybody I also write letters to myself.
I dedicate them to her and send them to me- selfletters to the caretaker:
“Dear caretaker…”-
I also take good care that the letters remain secret:
The writing is unreadable. She can read them against the light but she cannot decode the text. She is also secretely treasoned.
Spied spaces/visits to spaces momentarily abandoned- I assume her obsessions. I follow her
and repeat her movements. I step where she has already stepped. She dictates the path.
